The Made in Michigan Film Festival is an exciting, fun independent film festival. Its permanent home is now Frankenmuth.  This is the third year the festival will be held at the Bronner Performing Arts Center.  Every film has a significant connection to Michigan. We feature shorts, comedies, sci-fi, documentaries and full-length features. Entry is $5 a day. You can stay for one film or the entire weekend. The festival runs Friday evening, October 16th, and all day Saturday, October 17th.

The MiMFF together with Frankenmuth Community Education also offers a free student film workshop with the Motion Picture Institute all day Saturday.  Thirteen local high school students learn about various aspects of filmmaking.  They actually produce a five-minute film that is shown Saturday night at the festival.

We wouldn’t be here without the Frankenmuth Community Foundation’s strong support along with the Frankenmuth Credit Union, the Frankenmuth Brewery and other amazing businesses in town.
