The Frankenmuth School District food service department has roots dating back to 1928 when Superintendent Alfred Zink petitioned the school board for a stove and equipment to allow home economic students to prepare school lunches. Today our modern food service department continues this tradition with a team of 17 cooks preparing healthy lunches for over 850 students and staff per day. We are very proud of our fine food service program!
The Frankenmuth School District participates in the Federal Free and Reduced Meal Price Program. Your child may qualify for free meals or reduced price meals. For more information regarding the free and reduced meal program, please click here .
