The Frankenmuth School District food service department has roots dating back to 1928 when Superintendent Alfred Zink petitioned the school board for a stove and equipment to allow home economic students to prepare school lunches. Today our modern food service department continues this tradition with a team of 17 cooks preparing healthy lunches for over 850 students and staff per day. We are very proud of our fine food service program!
