July 22, 2014 is FSD board filing deadline

          The Frankenmuth School District Board of Education election will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 7:00a.m. until 8:00p.m. at their respective precincts.

          Four seats will be available in the election.  Kevin Maurer is completing his 4-year term. Dan Wortman is completing his 4-year term.  Albert Zehnder is completing his 4-year term. David Harris is completing his 1-year appointment. Kevin Maurer, Dan Wortman and David Harris will seek re-election.

          The candidate filing deadline is 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Petitions may be picked up from the Saginaw County Clerk’s Office at 111 South Michigan Avenue, Saginaw MI  48602. Since the election is being held in a district with less than 10,000 in population, only 6-20 signatures are needed by registered district voters. Candidates also may pay a $100 filing fee in lieu of gathering signatures.
